Introducing Nalajah Potts, a 22-year-old Celebrity Treat Designer and International Pastry Chef, affectionately known as LaLa.
Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Nalajah’s sweet journey began not in a grand bakery, but in the heart of her home kitchen at just 12 years old. Fueled by a simple but powerful dream to create the desserts she couldn’t afford for her 13th birthday, she transformed a childhood wish into an unstoppable passion. With encouragement from her mom and a fearless spirit, she rolled up her sleeves, ignited her creativity, and crafted her very first sweet masterpieces.
Her early creations may have been humble, but they carried a spark! A spark that would ignite an extraordinary career.
By 16, she had already earned the nickname “Baby Boss”, a title that spoke volumes about her relentless hustle, unshakable heart, and undeniable talent.
Through nearly a decade of grit, growth, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence, La’s Sweet Treats Co. was born. What started as a dream in a young girl’s heart blossomed into one of the most sought-after names in luxury desserts. Known for her bold creativity, cutting-edge designs, and meticulous attention to detail, Nalajah’s creations have graced the tables of celebrities, influencers, and dessert lovers around the globe solidifying her place as a true trendsetter in the industry.
Determined to master her craft at the highest level, Nalajah pursued formal training at the world-renowned French Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, specializing in Professional Pastry Arts. Today, she stands proudly as a globally recognized pastry chef, blending classical European techniques with her own signature flair to craft treats that are not just desserts but unforgettable experiences.
